We were tapped to animate the packaging and promotional campaign for the first season of FX’s English Teacher, where we used subtle hand-drawn animation to complement the show’s comedic spirit. Our challenge was to bring a minimalist design to life in a hand-crafted yet sophisticated way... We’re grading this one an A+!
THE PROCESS
For English Teacher, we brought a minimalist design to life with hand-crafted cel animation and subtle motion. Each piece of text was hand-lettered to emulate chalkboard writing, and we added textures and gentle motion to give everything a bit of extra flair. The result is a refined visual that feels both nuanced and engaging.
